Past Girl Power Events

March 2026 — Laser Tag

Girls had a blast bonding together at Laser Tag. Special thanks to Girl Power Amelie, Audrey and Maren for helping coordinate and making sure everyone had fun at the event.

December 2025 — Winter Event

Our last Girl Power event of the year had a great turnout and fun was had by all. The girls had hot chocolate, played games and got to know each other while the parents connected. The girls received blanket kits and T1D Barbies for those who didn’t have one. Special thanks to Becca, Amelie & Maren for planning and executing this fun free day!

August 2025 — Summer Event

Our quarterly Girl Power event was an incredible way for the T1D girls to connect. They swam, had ice cream and snacks, played board games, and built low blood sugar kits.

March 2025 — Vision Boards & Mandala Drawings

The girls made new connections with other T1D’s and created memories with craft items provided by the Giraldo family and Elbowbumpkid Inc.

December 2024 — Blanket Making

Girls aged 8–16 gathered for a special free event run by teen volunteer, Becca, to create blankets together while drinking hot chocolate and sharing stories.

August 2024 — Crafts and Fun

Our college student volunteer created friendship bracelets & low blood sugar kits with a group of tween girls.

June 2024 — Pottery

T1D tween & teen girls connected while creating pottery masterpieces, event sponsored by Elbowbumpkid Inc.
